Denise is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a County, Family, and Circuit Civil Mediator. She has been working as a County and Family Court Mediator for the 11th Judicial Circuit - Miami-Dade County, since 2017 and has covered a large range of family and civil cases, including dissolution of marriage (parental responsibility, time sharing, child support, equitable distribution, alimony), paternity cases, and modifications of time sharing, child support, and alimony.

She has also mediated evictions, commercial litigation, and other civil cases. 
Coming from a multicultural background, she has successfully mediated over 1,000 cases in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

She has a law degree from one of Brazil’s best Law Schools (Universidade Mackenzie, Sao Paulo, Brazil) and executive education in Mediation at FGV (Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Sao Paulo, Brazil). While in Brazil, she was an active member of the Brazilian Bar Association and practiced civil law, contract negotiation and litigation, handling both individual and corporate clients.

In Miami, she worked for a large Law Firm managing international clients from Latin America.
